Well he was Sammy Lagmay, and according to Cordero after the show ended in 1997, she never saw him.
.Lagmay along with his sister, Mylene personally went to DzMM to ask for extended hands.
He said that he suffered from diabetes and his kidney failure is the complication. He is undergoing 2 sessions of dialysis every week which costs him P1,750 per session. He is also getting blind.
"Ako’y nananawagan sa inyo na sana’y makahingi po ng konting tulong sa inyo. Talagang hirap na hirap na. Kung may makatulong, salamat. Yung mga kasamahan ko sa trabaho, sana makatulong kayo", he said.
He added that his financial status was due to his business partners who left him on air with lots of debts that he has to pay.
