Arvie Bringas suspended for spitting at opponent

After showing an unsporting behavior on their August 29 game against Ateneo, FEU cager Arvie Bringas is suspended a 2-game ban.

The FEU, through their official website said that the UAAP imposed a 1-game ban over Bringas. It also added that the FEU Athletics Department also imposed another 1-game ban over the cager.

The UAAP has meted a one-game suspension on FEU Men’s Basketball player Arvie Bringas for unsportsmanlike behavior during FEU’s last game on August 29 at the MOA Arena.

In addition, the FEU Athletics Department has imposed an additional one game ban on Mr.Bringas for his actions.

During the game against Ateneo Bringas was assessed with two fouls. In the last quarter, he was caught spitting at Ateneo's Justin Chua. He was then given disqualifying foul and sent him outside the court.

The game was won by Ateneo 64-77.
