Good news! Students can now avail discount at MRT.
This news was personally confirmed by the public information officer of the MRT, Frency Senolso. She said that they implemented this without any announcement last month.
Students can avail the discount by showing their identification card while buying single journey or stored value card. This discount system is available from Monday to Saturday.
However, the Light Rail Transit both line 1 and 2 are not yet implementing this discount system as LRT 1 and 2 officers should received orders first from the Department of Transportation secretary.
