Zsa Zsa Padilla's surgery is successful

The daughter of Zsa Zsa Padilla, Zia Quizon announced that the operation of her mom was quite successful and the cancer haven't spread through her body.

Through her Twitter account, she broke the news.

Surgery was a success! As far as the doctors could tell it has not spread anywhere else. Thank you everyone for your prayers and support. <3

Padilla, on Wednesday also said that the tumor removed from her kidney is malign.

My doctors woke me up from my nap to say that pathology got back to them and the tumor taken out was benign! I am overjoyed with the news!

As of now, Padilla is recovering from the surgery with her daughters beside her.
