Despite of many race joined the competition, a Filipino was declared as the winner. Wayne Algenio consumed a total 18 eggs.
Baluts are delicacy in the Philippines. It is a fertilized duck eggs where there is chick inside. Acoridng to food experts, the eggs are rich in protein, has some carbohydrates and other vitamins needed throughout the day.
