Robert Blair Carabuena surrenders and issues public apology

Robert Blair Carabuena the man who slapped an MMDA officer named Saturnino Fabros went to the office of the MMDA and surrenders to chairman Francis Tolentino.


On August 23, 2012, the MMDA Traffic Discipline chief Yves Gonzalez, through his Twitter account posted a photo of Carabuena while reading his apologies before the MMDA officials.

After the video featuring him while bullying the officer surfaced, he got cyber-bullied, suspended from work and now has his license in the process of revocation.

On the other hand, Fabros was promoted from work, received gifts including money, honored in a flag ceremony and was surprised by his co-workers repairing his house.

Mr. Gonzales also tweeted a copy of Fabros' apology letter.

Despite his apologies, the MMDA Tweeted that the direct assault case against Carabuena will push through and today is the preliminary hearing.
