Boy finds $63,000 worth of whale vomit

An 8-year-old boy from Bournemouth, Great Britain found a piece of yellowish rock that experts believe may worth $63,000.

Charlie Naysmit was just walking along the beach when he found  yellowish rock. Out of curiosity, he picked it and with the hep of his mom and dad, they found out that it was not just a rock.

They found out that it was an ambergris, a substance coming from whales' puke.

This substance is quite in demand specially to perfume makers as this can enhance and prolong a scent. According to sources, the ambergris that the boy found is worth $63,000.

As of now, the boy and his family still has the ambergris.

Ambergris is a substance in sperm whales' digestive system which can be emitted by vomiting. When fresh it stinks, but due to long years of exposing to sun and sea water, it becomes waxy and will have a sea, sweet and alcoholic smell.
