Teenager survives ocean tragedy by staying in fish bin

A teenager fisherman from Alaska survived an ocean tragedy by staying inside a fish crate while floating into the ocean.

Ryan Harris, 19 went to the ocean with his partner Stonie Huffman to fish when their 28-foot-vessel sank.

Huffman was able to find a survival suit along with the debris and swam through to reach the land. He then alerted the Coast Guard.

Harris in an interview said he sang songs like "Row Row Row Your Boat", "Rudolph The Red-Noses Raindeer" and many more sonns. He also encouraged himself by saying "I'm Ryan Hunter Harris and I'm not going to die here" while inside the crate.

Another fishing crew found Harris who brought him to their vessel and alerted the Coast Guard that airlifted him into the land.

According to the medical crew who took care of Harris, the boy only suffered with minor injuries.
