A coachman returns bag with P200,000 cash

Another honest driver returned a pouch with European money inside amounting to P213,371 to his French passenger.


Jaime Mayor, a 48-year-old coachman who live in Caloocan said that after he toured some French Nationals, he saw a pouch on his coach floor. When he looked inside it, he saw money and immediately chase the foreigners.
Pagbaba nila, malayo na sila, napansin ko iyung pitaka ng Pranses na babae. Nakita ko yung laman napakaraming mga euro, eh hinabol ko na pasakay na ng sasakyan nila.
The woman who owned the pouch, thanked him and gave him a hug.

In an interview by the ABS-CBN News, Mayor said he earns a commission-base salary of P200.00 to P500.00 daily.

Kenneth Montegrande, the spokesperson of the  National Park Development Committee (NPDC) said that Mang Jaime will be honored with "Dangal ng Rizal Park Award" for his honesty.
