MySpace and it's new layout

MySpace, a social networking site lets the followers to take a peek at their new layout.


This website released the new layout through a video in Vimeo on Monday.

The layout is like a combination of Facebook and Pinterest where people can connect with friends, share photos videos and many more.

A "Discover" section will be available to new music as well as concert events. Musicians can also use this section to quickly connect to their fans and send them messages.

Way back, when MySpace was the number 1 social networking website and most of the users are music lover and musicians. When the time that Facebook ousted them in 2008, the musicians remained in the website.

MySpace was founded in 2003 and was bought by NewsCorp in 2005 for $250 million. The site enjoyed it's position as the most visited social networking site until Facebook bagged the throne in 2008.

Justin Timberlake was enlisted as one of the major investors and was featured in the cover.

As of now, no announcement yet to when is the new layout to be launched. But, there is a link www.new.myspace.com where people can input their email addresses, so the company can invite them.
