Prince Harry deployed in Afghanistan

Prince Harry, the grandson of Queen Elizabeth II and the third person in line has been deployed in Afghanistan as an Apache helicopter pilot.

Britain's Defense Ministry confirmed the news and said that Harry will be there for four months. He will be stationed at dusty Camp Bastion in Afghanistan's Helmand province, with the 100-strong 662 Squadron, 3 Regiment Army Air Corps.

The prince was qualified to fly an Apache Attack helicopter after he trained over the deserts of Arizona and Nevada. During his training he won an award as the best co-pilot gunner.

Last month, the prince got into controversy after an online bulletin and a local newspaper leaked naked pictures of Harry with some women in Vegas. But, journalism watchdogs and locals filed complaints as they perceived it as invasion of privacy.
