Nora Aunor wins at Venice Film Festival

Nora Aunor won an award for her great portrayal of a midwife for the film "Thy Womb" in the 69th Venice Film Festival.

Bisato d' Oro Award is an independent award giving body. This award was given  by the Premio Della Critica Indipendente, a jury of independent film critics to the Superstar for her great portrayal of a Badjao who worked as a midwife despite she is dealing to her own infertility.

Aunor was the first Filipina to be conferred with the award.
