Emma Watson as the "World's Dangerous Cyber Celebrity"

McAfee, a computer protection company named the Harry Potter star, Emma Watson as the "World's Most Dangerous Cyber Celebrity".


Cyber criminal uses celebrity names as a bait for people to deceive them to register in fake sites, download viruses and many more.

McAfee said that people searching for Watson in the internet has the 12.6 chances of falling to the traps of these cyber criminals.

Paula Greve, director of McAfee web security research said people forgot to think about risks when following celebrities they are interested with.
In today's celebrity culture, consumers expect to be able to go online to catch up with the latest photos, videos, tweets, and stories about their favorite celebrities. Due to the richness of the data and the high interaction, often times consumers forget the risks that they are taking by clicking on the links.
This year's list was dominated by by female celebrities. In the top 20, the only male celebrity was Jimmy Kimmel.
