Nona Legaspi, VMMC director said that the electrocardiogram (ECG) results showed "ominous" T wave inversion or a sign of ischemia.
"Ischemia is not something that you take for granted. It would be better to transfer her to the ICU where she will have 24-hour monitoring," she said.
Arroyo, 65 was scheduled to be arraigned on Monday, October 15 by the Sandigan for the plunder case filed against her for allegedly misusing the P366-million and when as if she could attend the arraignment, Legaspi said that her cardiologist should give her clearance first.
"No, she has to be monitored until given a clean bill of health by the cardiologist. Binabatanyan siya, there's no need to overemphasize that the heart is a vital organ," Legaspi said.
