The Manila Police District (MPD) has named one of the suspects in the stabbing of an UST student inside the FEU campus.
MPD director Chief Supt. Alex Gutierrez identified the suspect as Cristina Acosta, a graduating nursing student from FEU. He added that Acosta will be facing attempted murder charges for allegedly stabbing Joanne Lourdes Concepcion Reyes, a graduating IT student from UST.
Reports has it that Reyes just left the FEU auditorium at about 6:30 p.m. when the group of Acosta with 4 more female companions blocked her way, sprayed a peppermint at her face and stabbed her 6 times.
Reyes is now in stable condition after the attack.
FEU officials already said that theuy are condemning the incident and will be conducting their own investigation.
