According to ABS-CBN News, Tesco, one of the leading supermarket chains in UK launched a selection of different Filipino products in some of it's stores in UK.
A ribbon cutting was held at the Tesco Extra in Sandhurst, Berkshire, on October 1 2012, Monday that is lead by Philippine Ambassador in UK Enrique Manalo.
This development was made possible to the persistence of he Philippine Trade and Investment Center in London (PTIC), an agency of the Department of Trade and Industry.
It was earlier this year that we introduced Manning Impex to Tesco, and from there they forged a partnership into having our Philippine products enter mainstream market, and this is just the start.
Tesco has over 30% share in the supermarket industry.
