24-year-old popstar in loved with a 12-year-old?

They say age doesn't matter. It's true we shouldn't mind the age of our loved one.

But, in every rule there's always an exception. Chinese Zhang Muyi is 24-years-old and he's in love. But, he is in love with a Canadian Akama Miki who was only 12-years-old.

Muyi said via Weibo, a Chinese twitter-like website that many people doubted them, but they will not prove anything.

Many people have doubted us and our love story. There's nothing we can do about this, nor do we feel the need to prove anything to these people. All we can do is continue to persevere with our love, our life, and being together.

Miki, a rising star already had more than 500,000 followers in Weibo, but only followed one user and guess who he is.


She said via Weibo:

Wait until I'm old enough to marry you, and then I'm going to say 'I do.

Muyi responded with:

I simply can't wait for these next four birthdays of yours to pass, I'm counting down each one.

As of now, Muyi is collaborating album with younger popstars in China. One of the video available was a remake of the song "Pretty Boy".
