But, love and heroism saved people in this tragedy.
Stephanie Davis, 21, didn't leave her friend who got hit in the neck. She stayed with her keeping her calm while applying pressure to her wounded friend.

Four men, showed compassion and love for their girlfriends. They exchanged their lives in order to protect them. The men don;t know each other.
Amanda Lindgren, one of the girlfriend told stories. She said:
He pulled me down and he covered my head, and he said ‘Stay down, ssshhh, stay down’. He was my angel that night, but everyday he was angel.
Julia Vojtsek, claimed that her boyfriend, a navy man jumped over her seat to cover her and just took the bullets.
